One day tsavo east safari (Kenya)

DAY-1: MOMBASA/DIANI BEACH-TSAVO EAST SAFARI

You will picked by oranje safari driver from your Mombasa/diani/malindi beach hotel at 04.30hrs early in the morning for your one day safari to tsavo east. From your beach hotel you drive past the ferry( if from diani beach hotel) then through the Mombasa-Nairobi taking you 200km approximately 2 hours drive to Tsavo East National Park. You will have a stopover for Toilet then enter the park through Bachuma tsavo east gate.

When we enter the park we begin a game drive where you may be able to see lots of animals, e.g. Zebra's, Elephants different types of antelopes, Lions, Buffalo's, Leopard, Giraffe and also a variety of different types of bird species. You will have a game drive up to lunch. We always suggest the best lodge that has a water hole, where animals come to drink water.

After the lunch you embark on a second game drive where you will have another game drive taking you to different parts of the park in search of the wild animals till 16.00hrs then check out of the park and drive back to your diani

You will be picked early in the morning after breakfast from diani Beach or Mombasa beach Hotel by oranje safaris driver guide and drive to Shimba hills national game reserve, the remaining tropical coastal forest rich in wildlife and plenty of bird species, butterflies and trees species of great value, with help of our guides you will learn a and see a lot on this safari. An optional guided walk down the hill (2km) to Sheldrick waterfalls is a special occasion for adventure as you will have a chance to shower from the falling water. The park has sable antelopes found only in shimba hills game reserve. Your lunch will be at shimba lodge the only Tree hotel in the coastal region.

Shimba lodge provides you with an experience in the forest and opportunity to lunch next to the elephants. Have a rest with a good view of the forest and river frequently visited by Elephants and resident fish eagles. Afternoon game drive safari in the National Reserve. Then depart back to the hotel. You have a chance of spotting endangered sable antelopes, roan antelopes, elephant giraffe, leopard, genet, hyenas buffalo, African bush baby etc The park is 300sq km.

Day One

You will be met by oranje exclusive safaris rep at moi international airport and transferred in an air-conditioned vehicle to Asha cottage. Asha Cottage was built in the Swahili style on one acre of seafront property. It has a lovely open air verandah that acts as a common entrance and sitting room, facing the pool and the sea.

Asha Cottage has only five guest rooms tastefully decorated with a mix of African, European, Afghan and Swahili decor, terra cotta floor tiles and solid mvuli carpentry work. All rooms have windows and beds with mosquito netting and their own spacious bathroom, ceiling fans and air conditioning.

Day two

Relax at asha cottages.

Day three

MOMBASA-West

Pick from your hotel at 0430hrs and drive 35km to the ferry then 170km to the to the Tsavo West. You will arrive at around 0900hrs for gamedrive visiting the Shetani lava and visit to Mzima springs where you have a chance of spotting crocodile and hippopotamus from underwater viewing chamber then drive to voyager safari camp where you will have your lunch. After lunch relax then embark on the Afternoon game in the private sanctuary. You will have a night game drive allowing you to spot nocturnal animals

Day four:

TSAVO WEST TO AMBOSELI

After having early breakfast game enroute then depart driving approximately 2 hours to Amboseli. Lunch at Sentrim safari camp. After lunch you will have an afternoon game drive in the famous amboseli national park. Amboseli is like a bird paradise due to its weather, Great White Egret, Sadle-Billed Stork, Egyptian Plover, Blacksmith Plover, Verreaux’s Eagle, Wattled Plover, Tawny Eagle, Eurasian Roller, Black-Shouldered Kite, Lizard Buzzard and other species of migratory. You have a chance of spotting big herds of elephants passing very close to the minibus. Various types of antelopes. If it is not clouded you have a chance of seeing the beautiful view of mount Kilimanjaro the tallest mountain in Africa. You will be marveled by the white ice on top of the mountain. At around 1845 proceed back to the sentrim safari camp.

Day five:

Amboseli Tsavo east

Morning game drive in amboseli before breakfast then proceed back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast leave the park and proceed straight to Tsavo east. Game drive en route to Ashnil aruba lodge. Lunch at Aruba Ashnil lodge then afternoon game drive upto 1845hrs proceed back to the lodge for diner and overnight stay.

DAY six:

TSAVO WEST–MOMBASA
Early game drive at 6.30am before breakfast at 8.30am.After breakfast check out of the lodge then game enroute Depart the park and proceed back to asha cottages.

Day seven.

Relax at asha cottages after a fantastic safari.

Day Eight

Transfer to moi international aitport.

End of service
